So, I’ll provide a short recap, but mostly I’ll give my thoughts on the episode as a part of the larger Star Trek narrative and thematic discussion. I don’t plan on really tackling canon quibbles; rather, I’d like to comment on the spirit of Trek , where other series build upon or support what’s going on in the episode, or if there seem to be any big contradictions or errors.
